NRAA Requests Cost Report Extension From CMS
Gaia Software is working closely with the NRAA on cost report issues. The NRAA has petitioned CMS for a dialysis cost report extension. The primary concern is organizations with fiscal years ending in 2011 prior to the release date will not have enough time to accurately complete the form under the new instructions by the current extended date of 11.30.11.
The NRAA has asked CMS for and extension of time and documented the need for the normal 5 months of preparation time, equalizing the standard filing period. Please use the link below to read the letter in full.
