Gaia Software remains a CROWNWeb FOCUSed organization, committed to helping our clients and friends stay at the forefront of dialysis data capturing and reporting.
Our position as one of the first CROWNWeb FOCUSed organizations has allowed us to take a step back as CMS and NRAA begin testing the Health Information Exchange (HIE) solution. We have opted to be a fast follower in this partnership between NRAA and CMS to allow other software vendors the opportunity to participate in the testing process. Since there were only seven spots available for testing purposes with CMS, Gaia deferred to the other vendors to avoid the perception of a conflict of interest, as Bruce Thompson, our CEO is a member of the NRAA board.
By having all CROWNWeb submission forms available and populated in our DIApro EHR, Gaia Software is prepared to elctronically transmit data as soon as the solution is verified and made available.
