CrownWeb Reporting Included in DIApro
GAIA Software, the leading provider of EMR / EHR and financial software solutions for dialysis providers, is now including CrownWeb Reporting as part of the basic package in DIApro. DIApro is GAIA Software's leading edge EMR / EHR designed specifically for dialysis facilities.
By including CrownWeb Reporting with DIApro GAIA is making it as easy as possible for providers to transition to the new regulations. As of this time, CMS does not accept electronically submitted information. GAIA's approach, for now, is to output the reports in the same format required for reporting by CMS. In the future, when CMS accepts electronically submitted reporting, GAIA will work to make the reports compliant with regulations and easy to use.
Bruce Thompson, GAIA CEO, said, "We feel it's important to give back to the industry at this time. With all of the changes in regulations coming through we felt this would help ease the burden for a lot of the providers in the marketplace."
CrownWeb Reporting has been delayed and isn't required until March of 2010, but now is the time for providers to prepare. Some facilities involved in testing feel there will be a need to hire additional personnel responsible for CrownWeb, or at least significantly adjust their staff responsibilities. DIApro - with CrownWeb included - should help alleviate the cost and extra stress on facility staffing associated with CrownWeb Reporting.
